We wish every Alembic customer could personally visit our factory. It's a great opportunity to meet the people that will actually build your instrument, and you can even select the woods for your axe personally.
Well, we realize that it is not possible or even practical for most of our customers to come for a personal visit, but we have a little factory tour set up here for those who can't make it to Santa Rosa.
It's so important for you to have as much information as possible to make an informed decision about your next instrument. We want you to know our hands, our tools, and our shop.
Our company has a rich history that is always the subject of much curiosity and speculation. We have worked with many interesting people over the years, and every person that has worked here as made some contribution. When our cusomers challenge us to build instruments that no one else wants to build, they also contribute.
If you've got time, read the “Long Story” that our company president, Susan Wickersham, wrote. As one of the founders of the company, who better to document our company's progress over the years? There's lots of information about your favorite 60's recording artists, too.
